The group was formed in 2002 as a collaborative effort between concerned Rottweiler owners and enthusiasts in New England area in an effort to re-home GOOD Rottweiler's to deserving homes.  Rottweilers placed through TRC are temperament tested, and appropriate homes are recommended.

In 2007 the group also saw that not only Rottweiler puppies were in need of rescuing but also puppies of all breeds. Thousands of puppies are being euthanized everyday.

Please feel free to contact us about your particular needs, and we will do our best to assist you in finding the right dog.  The Rottie Connection operates primarily in NJ, NY, CT, MA and PA and will extend its services to other locations provided there are volunteers available to assist.

The actions of this all-volunteer group are directed toward the development of a network of rescuers, transporters, foster homes, and liaisons with other rescue groups in order to provide information and assistance.

The dogs in our group are provided veterinary medical care, spay and neuter program, rehabilitation in foster homes and careful screening for appropriate adoptive homes with our ultimate goal being the welfare and protection of these large companion animals.

Working together we are making a difference - one dog at a time.

Let's save a homeless animal together!
