Meet Tazz

Our dog of the month!!

Un-Adopted/Tazz1.JPG

Tazz is a 1-year-old female Labrador retriever mix. Her and her siblings were placed in a bag and drooped in a small creek by an unknown man. Fortunately, this was a well used creek and a boy saw this happen. He wadded over to the bag and pulled it out of the water and discovered three very small puppies.

The boy took the puppies to his mother hopping she could help them. After taking care of the puppies she called her near by shelter and explained what had happened.

Un-Adopted/Tazz.JPG

The shelter took the two puppies (the mother allowed the boy to keep one) and placed them with our rescue. With in a month one puppy was adopted leaving Tazz behind.

Tazz has grown into a very loving sweet dog and would love to have her forever family like her siblings. Please give Tazz this opportunity.

Tazz is fostered in New York State. (02-08-0027)

Un-Adopted/Mugsey.jpg

What a mug…how can you say no to that face? Mugsey was found on the side of the road drinking melted snow and shivering. He had a choke collar on that had been broken, and was obviously in need of a home. He has a scabbed nose and feet and is extremely underweight. Despite all this, Mugsey is very affectionate and loves to be around people, other dogs, and cats. He is between 3-5 years old and is a boxer mix. Mugsey seems to have no behavior problems but barks occasionally when left alone. We are looking for a family to nurture him and help him on his road to recovery PLUS love him forever!! This is a dog that will NEVER FORGET that he was saved! Please help give this dog a forever home.
